I may have to respectfully disagree :-) My favorite Mel Brooks movie, hands down, is Spaceballs. Only seconded by Blazing Saddles :-)

So would a funny real-life situation still qualify for comedy?

Gretchen. The Sunshine Kid? Really?

We must never speak of this again.

Agreeing/nodding to so many of these (scratching my head on some like Castro, really? Hm). But all I can seem to muster is: Puttin' on the riiiiiiiiiiitz!

I about fell out of my chair when I got to "Favorite Keanu Reeves Movie", I was laughing so hard. I have to admit that I love "Parenthood" and "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" is one of my guilty pleasures. But he's pretty much playing the same character in both, so I guess I'm excused.

My favorite film where Meryl Streep doesn't do an accent is "Defending Your Life" - with an accent is "Iron Lady". *Seriously* good film. As for Katherine Hepburn, "The African Queen" is not only my favorite of her films, it's my favorite of all time. Mel Brooks? I'm sorry, nothing he's made is as funny as "The Producers", although "Young Frankenstein" and "Blazing Saddles" are almost as good.

I have not been in the blogging mood lately...but I finally have my spin done!

Your favorites are awesome! Eleanor Roosevelt is my favorite, too...have you seen the picture book about her and Amelia Earhart? It's one of my favorites, too!

(I'm link happy today!)

How do you not have a favorite Keanu Reeves movie? I started to love him after I saw Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure! Haha!

Also, I don't know if we can be friends anymore...I'm a die hard Redskins fan. Cowboys suck! :)

What a beautiful book! Thanks for letting me know about it!

I was nodding along with so many of these. Young Frankenstein is a favorite around here, but Turbo loves Robin Hood Men in Tights and Spaceballs almost as much.
And when I saw your favorite Cat Woman was Julie Newmar, all I could think was the scene where Sheldon was trying to go to sleep by counting Cat Women. Yes, we watch a lot of Big Bang Theory.
