Oh Facebook. How I love/hate you. You make me feel old and boring. But not as old as when someone calls me ma'am.

The Bug

Sarah I was thinking the SAME thing today - do NOT call me ma'am! It's just rude!

Gretchen - I have quite an eclectic group of FB friends too. I had to laugh the other day. I'm my 16 yr old nephew's friend. He posted about it being his birthday & one of his female friends posted that she like that day because it was the day she lost her virginity. I wanted to say "you DO know B's mom reads this, right?" Yeah, I decided right then that I'll never be cool to those guys...

Amy

I have what I think is a Facebook quandary. I have just under 100 friends. Which is apparently that tipping point, at which now everyone has FOUND me. My "Friend Requests" are mounting daily (I'm ignoring them all for the moment), and many of them aren't people that I want to have to think about wandering around on the outskirts of my life. Because it's all starting to feel sort of... ewwwy.

All that info out there, much of it the kind that only one's REAL friends used to be privy to. And now?

Eww.

Uh-oh. This means I'm old, doesn't it? Yeah, I thought so.

Steff

I have way more FB friends than are friends in RL cause i am playing mafia wars...and can i just say there is nothing worse on FB than this ADDICTIVE game and the fact that i am playing as part of a Mafia with some of my high school friends/boyfriends is just downright funny.
i have my friend list filtered though so only my real life friends and family can read my updates.

91 Ashleys! Please tell me that's true!

This post is so hilarious.

Why has nobody called me a "blue ribbon fuck" on my fb wall?

The Lawyer Mom

Wow. Joey's one proflific guy. Let's hope he doesn't have to apply for an office job one of these days. Facebook has ruined many a career.

Yeah, my brother comes off as a douchebag on Facebook, and my father and I have subsequently blocked his updates from our news feeds

In fact, it was that post exactly that solidified my decision to block him, and my dad the same, because the way he understood his "wall", he thought every one of HIS friends could see Vincent's posts too.
