We didn't get to the movies much growing up. VCRs and such were how I saw most of the movies I remember from my childhood.

You and I think so much alike it's scary...I wrote almost the same paragraph about DVDs!

My mom had the record for Mary Poppins, too, so I knew all the songs before I ever saw the movie. It's still one of my favorites!

LOL! I love that the movie you remember is Yogi Bear and BooBoo. Great fun with the movie spin.

I remember mom dropping me off for a Saturday morning movie of The Yearling. I cried and cried. The next Saturday morning movie was Old Yeller. I cried for days. I think these movies were free and had to do with school because I remember being surrounded by my classmates. The first current movie I saw in the theater with my best friend was The Fox and the Hound. I remember using the side curtains as a tissue. I swore off Disney movies at age 7.

I loved watching Yogi bear as a kid! Benji was my first movie out in the theater and then I think ET.

Sharon, The Mayor

I never saw this movie. I do remember the Yogi Bear cartoon on Saturday mornings. I should see if Netflix has Yogi and make it movie night tonight.
