That dustpan solution is pretty innovative! Will have to do that next time. I chuckled when I read about the Thatcher and Cher mixup. I can see where people might read that it was Cher.

Here's my spin! http://viewfromdownhere-viewfromdownhere.blogspot.com/2013/04/quotes-to-live-by.html

And those reviews from Amazon? Oh dear God. Classic.

Claire

OMG that is hilarious about Thatcher and Cher. I guess it wouldn't be too much of a surprise if she did kick off...

VandyJ

I remember someone else mentioning the Thacher/Cher mix up. I can see how that could happen.

I love looking at those helpful hints things. I'd never actually do any of them, but they are clever.

Kendra

That is funny about the Cher/Thatcher mishap. I'm sure a lot of people were relieved!

Do we need a hashtag clearing house now? I have not seen those carved books. A few sharp knives, saws, glue, paint, old books, and lots of time - you could do it.

Lynn

that is a great site for household hints: I love the microwave corn, baking eggs in the oven (don't know, might have to try that) and some others I have never seen before--thanks for sharing!

Yeah, the dumb pens I read about a while ago and still shake my head. Who comes up with this dumbness? The bottle as a cord holder is ingenious (my MIL does that with the paper rolls already because she's magnificent.)

Stacy Uncorked

That was hilarious that people misread the hashtag and thought Cher was dead. ;)

Those book landscape/carvings are SO COOL! I think I need one for my mantle. Well, I suppose I need to get a mantle first. Maybe in my next house. ;)

I'd seen the bottom two suggestions, but hadn't seent he toilet paper roll suggestion - that is truly genius! Princess Nagger turned the faucet into a drinking fountain once by putting a bubble pipe in the faucet. :)

I love that batman kitty - and read the reviews on the pens the other day laughing hysterically. :)

Have a great week, Gretchen! :)
