Love this! That is one of the best and most peaceful times of the day.

Kim

It's a well-deserved award for the day. Sounds heavenly!

Scrumptious. Absolutely scrumptious.

Tina

It is so relaxing--that moment of peaceful quiet when everyone else is asleep! I don't get enough of those.

Alaina

Now this is making me wish I was in bed, too :-)

VandyJ

I don't get my time at night, but I do get it in the mornings. I'm up early and I'll get half an hour or so all to myself in the mornings before I have to get everyone else up. It is a lovely time.

My post is up:

That sounds fantastic. I can almost feel the breeze from the fan and hear its noise. Well done.

Jessica

Perfect! :)

Teresa

I feel relaxed just reading this. . .

There is something about that one point of the day (for me, it's usually early morning although I hate mornings) when I realize everyone else is still asleep -- covered, cozy, still dreaming. And I have stolen moments to make tea or meditate or do yoga or read. It is bliss (too bad my tub leaks into the bathroom below or I'd probably have a soak like you.)

Ginny Marie

Oh, I love that time of night, too! It's my time. :)

My spin is up!

There's something both soothing and terrifying to me about this time of night. I love what you said about that peace in knowing everyone is where they are where they should be, but there's always a nagging thought in my head that knows it could change at any time. I hate that.

carol

Great post! You described a perfect combination of selfish meets mother love. I'll think of night very differently from now on.
