Are you daring me? I think this sounds like a dare. Okay you're on but it will have to be later tonight. I'm teaching until 5:30. I'll post an essay tonight. Already my brain is wrapping around this one.

So it didn't take me as long as I thought. Of course, I should be at work by now but this was much more fun. http://michele-dogslife.blogspot.com/2011/09/picture-essay-spin-cycle.html

Hmmm. I WAS going to say that your relative was your mother - the lady with the stockings up to her knees looking at the lady pretending to have a mustache on the floor. But then I remembered your Mama was a Proper Southern Lady, so I'm thinking it was a sister or cousin, perhaps?

As for the activity, they appear to be getting loaded.

Oh, this is good! And now Michele's Spin makes sense. Can I vote for her? It's AWESOME. You're linked!

'In order to keep calling the meetings "Acting Club" the girls felt it necessary for a reinactment of sorts. Amy and June played out how Mr. Waters, the head of accounting, always sweet talked Mary during smoke breaks. Didn't he know he was a foot shorter than Mary? Ah, well, another drink for everyone. After all, that was fine acting.'

Who: The woman making a mustache with her hair is your crazy aunt.
What: With all of that booze and smoking, definitely a baby shower.
Where: Someplace cold. Chicago?
When: 1942

Your grandmother and her sisters having a girls night in?

I have many thoughts, but can't decide on one. I think I will put my competitive nature back in the holster and wait until you send out the big reveal tomorrow. I will celebrate in secret if I'm even close with my scenario.
